Along with promises of safety for women in Delhi from political parties, other issues that women are demanding to be looked into, this election, include violence and crime, clean public toilets and safe public transport.

Self-help groups and village committees have been set up by Pradan, with Jagori and UN Women in 9 districts across 4 states in order to create an environment to spread awareness among women.
