Despite women in the Capital using public transport more than men, urban transport has yet to be ‘gender responsive’ and have policies that ensure women’s safety.

A closer look at the disturbing statistics regarding rape in Ambedkar Nagar, Delhi, reveals complications in cases that have been filed and the prevailing lack of security in this densely populated area.
