JAGORI undertakes action-research that serve as the basis for focused advocacy and women-led interventions in the community. These studies raise crucial questions regarding the centrality of women-centered perspectives that need to be brought to the attention of policy makers and implementers. Domestic Workers Rights

Jagori’s research issues of migrant women and women workers in the informal economy led us to further explore, in 2010, the living and working conditions of female domestic workers in the city of Delhi. Domestic workers: Conditions, Rights and Responsibilities(2010)

Is this our city?

As part of the Safe Delhi Campaign, JAGORI released a report and short film titled ‘Is This My City? Women’s Safety in Public Spaces’ in March 2007 at the India International Centre, New Delhi.The report presents the findings of the Safety Audits that were conducted in different parts of Delhi to identify factors which make a place safe or unsafe for women.

A Draft Strategic Framework for Women’s Safety in Delhi, 2010

The findings of the baseline survey and it’s recommendations led to the drafting of a Strategic framework that will help guide interventions to make Delhi a safer city for women, especially those from vulnerable groups.
