JAGORI ('AWAKEN, WOMEN') is a women's training, documentation, communication and resource centre that was established in 1984 with the aim of carrying feminist consciousness to a wider audience using creative media.

We are looking for a Project Associate who will support Jagori’s resource centre in the acquisition, management and dissemination of feminist knowledge to a wide range of users.

The project associate will be expected to:

• Coordinate the library and information services at the Jagori office and communities and enable wider outreach
• Coordinate content development and outreach through online media 
• Assist in the knowledge management function of the organisation
• Assist in compilation and production of training, campaign and other materials as required
• Assist in the management of the online archives

Educational qualifications/Skills/Qualities:

• Should be a graduate
• Equipped with communication and documentation skills
• Fluent in written and spoken Hindi and English
• Keen interest in reading
• Able to deal with website related issues
• Able to work in a team, with good inter-personal skills
• Organised and able to work to timelines
• Aware of and sensitive to development and women’s issues
• Committed to a minimum of two years of working with the organization
