New Delhi, Jan 3 Capital's two busy metro stations -- Jor Bagh and Mandi House -- have been transformed into artful and educational spaces as photographs, daily dairies, videos and participatory maps on two distinct themes line their walls.
Delhi-based feminist organization Jagori has been working tirelessly for more than three decades to give an opportunity to men and women to question gender roles, attitudes and beliefs so that they can change them, and create awareness among women about their rights so they can claim them.
Studies by Jagori and UN Women in 2010, as well as real-time data by Safetipin seem to tally with #MeToo tweets on social media showing that sexual harassment is faced in public spaces and transport.
