Safety and Well-Being of people is paramount
Keeping in mind the safety of all employees and members of the communities it works with, Jagori has decided on Work from Home policy for all Jagorians and Sangatis till 31st March. We believe the principle of social distancing being followed globally is the best preventive measure that needs to be adopted at the moment to contain the community transmission of COVID-19 virus.
Providing psycho-social counselling and support to women survivors of violence is an integral part of Jagori’s work. Hence both helplines (mobile and landline) WILL REMAIN ACTIVE. Though Shivalik office and Field Support Centres at Madanpur Khadar, Bawana, Bilaspur Camp and Tajpur Pahari will be closed, in cases of emergency, meetings with survivors will be scheduled in Shivalik office. There may be some delay, some technical hiccups but we want to assure we will try our best to help our sisters facing any kind of violence.
We wish that everyone stays safe in these difficult times and stays focused on the safety of those most vulnerable too.
